Cindy Higgins

Welcome to Button Real Estate, where our team of experienced agents are dedicated to helping buyers and sellers find the perfect home and make a smooth transition. Our goal is to provide exceptional service to our clients and we pride ourselves on taking care of them every step of the way throughout the process.

After several years as a bookkeeper in a real estate office and fostering a long-standing interest in the industry, Cindy Higgins transitioned into a real estate agent role—a decision that has proven to be one of her best. Since starting her journey as an agent, Cindy has successfully closed four deals in just her first nine months.

Despite being relatively new to the field, Cindy has already assisted clients in various situations, including avoiding foreclosure, purchasing within a Homeowners Association (HOA), and working with Veteran’s United. Cindy’s approach is not focused on a single niche; her passion is helping buyers find their ideal home, whatever that may be. She is dedicated to understanding her clients’ needs, listening attentively, and actively searching the MLS for homes that match their desires. Often, she goes beyond standard automated searches by sending personalized listings directly to her clients.

When working with sellers, Cindy prioritizes accurate pricing to ensure the property sells quickly while maximizing proceeds. She takes the time to explain offers as they come in and keeps her clients informed throughout the process.

Cindy values building strong relationships with her clients, answering their questions, and creating plans to achieve their real estate goals. She is patient and never rushes clients into making decisions, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. Her ultimate aim is for clients to feel happy with their decision to work with her, knowing she has genuinely helped them.

Having been born and raised in NEPA, Cindy has deep ties to the community. She has lived in Wanamie (Newport Twp), Larksville, and now Mountain Top. Her professional background includes working at the Nanticoke library, running a Mommy & Me program in Kingston, and teaching preschool in both the Back Mountain and Mountain Top areas. Her family’s connections extend to Berwick, where her husband works and her daughter resides.

Cindy is known for her accessibility, making herself available to clients for any questions they may have. If she doesn’t have an immediate answer, she is committed to finding it.

Her responsiveness and dedication continue even after closings, as she values the relationships built throughout the process.

In her personal life, Cindy prioritizes family time and enjoys discovering local hidden gems and new activities. She has taken up running in recent years, participating in races with her son, and is an active member of the Wyoming Valley Striders, a local running organization.
